Summer Social 5 a Side FAQ's

Do I register as an individual or as a team?

Please register as an individual. 

When registering include your team name in the registration and the club will form the teams

What are the game times?

Games will be 6pm and 7pm

What days will 5 a side run?

Games will be on Tuesday evenings.

Depending on volume of registrations, some games may take place on another night, however at this point we are only expecting 6-7 teams.

What do players wear?

Teams choose their own team shirts/shorts/socks. Shin-pads and boots are compulsory. Bibs can be provided if kits are too similar.

Will there be an all girls Junior competition?

Not planned, but we will consider it if we have enough registrations.

How long does 5 a side run for?

We expect 7 weeks - 6 rounds and 1 finals week.

Regrading during the season?

There are no grades in social summer 5 a side at Dayboro. Just fun.

Will the bar be open?

Yes. Oui. Of course. Naturally. Ja. (Who asked this silly question???!)

How will the competitions be setup?

Simply round robin for mixed teams. Our competitions will comprise of no more than 10 teams.

What competition groups will there be?

The competition groups available are mixed social only, ages 16 and above. Demand dependent, we will look to to summer season for other age groups post season in 2025/6
