Wet weather, or weather that is unsafe for play or the ongoing durability of infrastructure is something that is not in the control of the Club. Whilst we will always endeavour to ensure that training and games can go ahead, we often have no option but to close the pitch when player safety or the viability of the pitch is at risk.
When weather has the potential to impact the opening of the Colin Thiele Memorial Field for either training or match days, we will:
- update the 'Fields' notification status at the top of our website with a status and information
- update our Social Media
- send a message through Squadi
Home Games & Training
Our field will only be closed once it has been inspected. This will usually occur latest 3pm on a weekday and at 7am on a weekend. We will endeavour to give as much notice as possible, however when it comes to weather please understand that we are not able to dictate to the late development of inclement conditions. Please do check in regularly, and prepare to amend plans if wet, inclement or dangerous weather is forecast.
Away Games
We do not have any influence or control on the management of fields outside of the Club's pitch. We will endeavour to communicate any information we receive via Social and other means, but do check Squadi for updates on Away Game locations and status.
